Savarakathi Movie Review

Here's the review of GR Adithya's Savarakathi...
Please don't judge this movie by its title!

Review

  • Mysskin, Ram and Poorna
Mysskin
He has played a role, which he had not done before!
He is an aggressive villain, who makes us roll on floor laughing (ROFL) through out the movie!
His screen presence is simply superb and Hats off, Mysskin Sir.

Ram
He is the protagonist of the movie.
His sense of humour is amazing, man!
The dialogue delivery and body language were mind-blowing!
He is man of emotions!

Poorna
This is her career-best!
A girl from village, who cracks old proverbs more often.
She has put in a lot of efforts to bring out her acting skills through this film.
Her role is similar to the frog which won the mountain race!
Brilliant job!

This film is nothing without this tremendous trio!

  • Editing and Cinematography
Karthik Venkatraman and Julian are the much needed ingredients for this movie!
The slow motion captures in the song "Annaanthu Paar" were visual treat for the iris!
The frame covered the necessary objects in a clear and crispier manner!

  • Music
The music kick-started from the title card itself!
Beautiful Background score!
Arrol Corelli accomplished his job without any compromises!
Sound mixing and RR synced perfectly!
"Thangakathi" song is the perfect finisher of the movie!

  • Supporting Cast
Shaaji Chen as 'Madman' impressed the audience with his hilarious act!
The characters like henchmen of Mysskin, Ram's children, Poorna's brother Raghu, Raghu's love interest Kayal and her family members were the others who did justice to their roles.

  • Dialogues and Direction
Mysskin proved himself as one of the best dialogue writers in the film industry.
At the same time, he justifies the proverb "Action speaks louder than words" through the movie.
It's been a long time, since we laughed by seeing the actions and gestures of the actors and Thanks to GR Adithya for making it possible!
He managed to pull off a perfect entertainer of the year 2018!
But, only concern is that, Mysskin's shade traveled along with GR Adithya throughout the movie!

Blurb: Savarkathi s(h)aves life!
