Aruvi Movie Review

Review

"Aruvi", What a beautiful word!
And, such was the film...!
Aruvi is a crafted, subject-oriented and well-performed 130-minute 'Masterpiece'.
Finally, a fantastic movie towards the end of 2017!

Cast

Aruvi without Aditi Balan will be like a Morning sky without a Sun.
Where were you hiding all these days?
What an acting, couldn't turn my eyes away from you.
Aditi as Aruvi is a bold, daring, practical, emotional and "Bharathi Kanda Pudhumaippen" in this movie.
In one scene, Aruvi explains the life of a normal man in this society, and that particular scene got big round of applause in the theatre!
She lived the role and did justice to her profession.
Hats off, Aditi!!!
There's lot more to come in your life, Keep up your acting skill!
Wait begins for your next movie...

The characters like the girl who portrayed the role of young AruviLakshmi Gopalswami, the anchor of TV reality show, the director of the reality show, Emily, a friend of Aruvi, the man who shouts "Rolling Sir!" and the young bottle-spinner were the others, who made their presence known.

Director

Arun Prabhu Purushothaman recorded a promising debut!
My sincere thanks, Arun for choosing a subject, which is not touched by any, so far.
Good story, Straight-forward screenplay, Powerful dialogues and Well-executed!
Now a days, Debut directors are directing far far better than the Veterans!
And, at the same time, after one or two movies, they are disappearing from the industry.
We don't want to see you like that.
Take your own time, come up with an another interesting story.
We will be waiting for you, till then...

Technical Team

The cinematography, editing, and art direction were engaging in some parts of the movie.
I bet, only a few, would have noticed the works of technical team.
Because, Aruvi stole the show!

Music

Many wouldn't love to have songs in such an award-winning movie.
Because, it may slow down the progress of the film.
But, when it comes to Aruvi, the songs were placed at appropriate sequences, and they moved along with the movie.
The tracks like 'Kukkotti Kunaatti', 'Asaindhadum Mayil' is still lingering in my ears.
Bindhumalini's voice rendition is simply superb!
Pleasing lyrics from Kutti Revathy's pen!

Blurb: "Aruvi", a flaw-less flow!
